DAVIS CUP CONTEST
LOCATION OF FIRST ROUNDS. (tNITM) fRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIGHr.) SYDNEY, 27th March. The sub-committee of the Tennis Association, has sent a cable message to Belgium to propose that the first rounds of the Davis Cup contest should be played at New Yorlf on 26th July. Belgium had previously cabled inviting the Australasian team to compete for the world's hard court championships at Brussels.
