KHANDALLAH SWIMMING BATH
For some considerable time the executive of the KhandaJtah Progressive Association has had in hand the project of constructing a swimming bath for the u» of the residents of the district. Numerous sites have been under consideration] some of which have been inspected by Councillor J. M, Dale and Mr. W. H. Morton. City Engineer, both of whom have dieplayed ■ considerable interest ii: iiie mutter. ' '_ f' "The ladies, of the district v«ry, kindly arranged several function*, which resulted in a substantial sum being raised for tho' purpose indicated. It was hoped that it would haye been po««iWe to have proceeded with tho scheme, at least to the extent of providing a pool for the use o£ tho boys durinß the recent- vacation, but unexpected difficulties aroso which mad« this impossible. .
