The Devon ha« been delayed at Wellington, and will tow not leave till to-morrow afternoon for Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

TREBATHA IN THE STREAM. The steamer Trebathi arrived in the stream at Wellington at 9 o'clock last evening from Cardiff. Tbe vessel was passed by the doctor this morning, but remained in the stream as no berth was available at the wharf. The Trebatha is owned by the Hams Shipping Company, Ltd., and is a vessel of 459* tons gross register. She left Cardiff on the 2nd February with 5995 tons of coal for Wellington, and experienced moderate weather on the voyage across the Atlantic. Tbe Panama Canal was cleared on the 25th February, and S.W7 veatber was encountered on tbe run down the Pacific. Captain J. H. Pelhara ia in command of the vessel, and he has the- following officers:— First, Mr. F. McEwan; second, Mr. J. Roach; third, Mr. S. Robertson; chief engineer, sfr. J. Lander; second, Mr. H. James; third, Sir. S. Mitchell. The Trebatha comes to the agency of the Union Steam Ship Company.
