MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Three first-offending inebriates cam* before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Two were fined, Ss, and a third, a lad of eighteen years of age, ,was convicted and discharged. : ' GeoTge Bontiedtge, a second offender for drunkenness, was fined Kfe, in default forty-eight hours in.gaol. On a charge of being absent without leave from the liner Waiwera, Arthur Veter Gibson was sent to gaol for seven days. If the ship sails in the meantime Gibson will be placed on board.
