THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN SOOTT.
. Wednesday next being the tenth anniversary of the death of Captain Scott and hia gallant band of Antarctic explorers, the Navy League, with other organisations, has arranged to hold a Bhort memorial service in tho Dominion Farmers' Institute at 12.?0 on that day. Mr. J. G. Harknoss, chairman of the Harbour Board,* will preside, and the service will b-i conducted by'the Rev. T. Feilden Taylor. In tho evoning at 8 o'clock, in the Dominion Farmers'- Institute^ an exhibition of lantern elides depicting Captain Scott's expedition will bo given by Mr. A. Leigh Hunt, tho president of the Navy League (Mr. J. P. Firth) being w the chair.
