The match for the final of the "knockout" competition for the Myers Cup was commenced at Duppa-street between the Vacuum Oil Company and Dalgety and. •Company. Vacuum Oil Company, > batting first, compiled 151 (Wilson 1 50, Jennings 33, Donaldson 25,' Aitcheson 17). Hannay secured three wickets for 32, and Lawrence four wickets for 47. Dalgety's replied with nine wickets for 125 (Claughton 21, Drake 32; Grubb 21, Hannay 13). Jennings secured four wickets for 23, and Anderson three wickets for 21.
