, !A! committee meeting of tbe reoantly'ormed Courtenay-plaee Area. Association was hold last evening. Mr. W. Stuart Wilson was in the chair. Tho report uF tho various sub-committees showed ifcat the. proposed objects of the association were most favourably received by th.3 members of tho various business firms who had been interviewed, several of whom showed their practical sympathy by promises of substantial linaneia! support. An organiser was appointod, and arrangements wore made to call another general meeting at an early date, -when a furtbor report will be presented a» io the progiess made.
