DIGGER DAY CONCERT.
The returned soldiers' Digger Day concert in the Town Hall on Saturday next promises tc be one of the best concerts of the year. The Commercial Travellers'. Male Voice Choir are providing several of their very acceptable items. Mts. Albert Russell, Mrs. Goldsmith, Miss M'Enroe," and Miss. Driscoll are the lady vocalists of the party, and) are all well known as performers of exceptional merit. The male / vocalists will be Messrs. H. F. Wood (tenor), O. W. Moore and Sid Allwright (baritones). Norman Aitken is well known and everpopular with his dramatic recitations and humorous monologues. Comedy will be suppliedi by Mr. Albert' Russell, Wellington's most popular comedian!. Mr,. Frank Andrews, the Human Pianola, is an entertainment in himself, and Mr. Marcus Marka will delight the audience with some of bis clever stories. The box- plan is now open at the' Bristol, where seats may be booked. Tickets are also on sale at the R.S.A. Shop in Willisstreet, next Empire Hotel'.
In aid 'of the Gymnasium Fund of the Kilbirnie-Lyall Bay Presbyterian Church a concert will be given in the Church Hall, Freyberg-street, to-morrow evening. An attractive programme has been arranged.
