About 11 o'clock on Monday /morning the body of Evan Sarjeant was discovered in. the bush, three miles from .Ohiira with a service, rifle lying'alongside. Deceased had apparently been out pigr shooting, and climbed a tree in'order to get a better ; shot at the pigs,, but in getting down again slipped, and the rifle, turning round, exploded against his head. , ' : : - , " , .
