STRAND THEATRE.
The First National attraction, "Serenade," directed by George Walsh, which heads the current bill "at the Strand Theatre, is a, Spanish drama, filled, with exciting episodes and tender love scenes. Miriam Cooper and George Walsh play the leads. The next picture, "The Branded Woman," is one of Norma Talmadge's greatest successes. She appears as the young girl fresh, from refined college training and; clean environment who is thrust into the atmosphere of the so-called smart-set. An excellent supporting programme includes the third episode of the serial, "The Lure of the Circus."
