OUR THEATRE, NEWTOWN.
A novelty in picture productions will be introduced to Newtown residents at Our Theatre to-night. ,Tbis will be the Marshall Neilan production, "Bits of Life," which comprises four separate stories, all of an entertaining character.
Last night a house packed to its utmost greeted the proprietor of the Brooklyn Pictures, the occasion being an entertainment given on behalf of the school picnic (which takes place to-morrow), and the fund will benefit by a substantial amount. An excellent programme was shown, and thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children. Dur.in£ the evening, Mr. White, the chairman of, the committee, spoke in very eulogistic terms of the generosity of the proprietor, arid hoped the people would not soon, forget itThanks was also expressed to Mr. Frank Andrews, who so ably assisted at the piano to make the evening ths success it waa.
