MIRAMAR CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Mrramar Golf Club was held at the Chamber of Commerce laet night. Mr. Jf P. Firth presided.
The report and balance-sheet, particnlaro oi which have been published, were adopted.
The election of officers resulted:— Patron, His Excellency the GovenorGenerai (re-elected); president, Mr. J. P. Firth (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. C. E. Richardson and M. J. Crombie; captain, Mr. A. E. Mabin (reelected) ; committee, Captain A. E. Conway, and Me§sfs. L. W. Grace, G. Magnus, G. H. Scott, and T. R. LawBon; secretary, Mr. A. Erskine. Mr. E. A. Liddle was re-elected to represent debenture holders on the committee.
It was decided to forward a letter of thanks to the Sports Protection League for action taken during the year in connection with the revaluation of properties used by sports bodies. Appreciation was expressed of the work of the retiring committee and the former secretary, Mr. Williamson.
The Miramar (ladies')' Golf Club held the annual meeting of- members in the Chamber of Commerce yesterday afternoon. Mrs. (7. Richardson presided, and a number of matters were discussed. The season will open on 18th March, when a mixed fours^ne match will be played. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year • —Captain, Mrs. F. C. Widdop; committee, Misses Wheeler, Withers, and Yon Dadelszen; hon. secretary, Miss Carter.
