President's Handicap, of 500 soys; one mile.—-Golden Bubble, 1; Tama-a-roa, 2 ; Boomerday, 3. Scratched: Prince Abbey, Bang. ,Won by a length and a-half. Time, lmin 40sec. • Wairakau Hack' Handicap, of 200 soys; seven furlongs.—Gold Bud, 1; Kitholia, 2; Menace, 3. All ttarted. Won by half a length, ln-in 29 2-osec.
Electric Handicap, of 250 snvs; six furlongs.—Hipo, 1; Queen Abbey, 2; Tama-a-roa, 3. Scratched: Golden Bubble. Won by a head. T'sie, lmin 15sec.
