REFORMERS GAIN SEATS

At the London County Council election, the Municipal Reformers (whose chief plank was economy) ' secured 82 seats, a gain of 14; the Progressives 25 seats, a loss of 15; and Labour 15 seats, a loss of one. The most notable individual result was the defeat of Mr. Gosling, a Labour leader, at Kennington, which returned one Progressive and one Reformer.
