STEAMER DELAYED
THROUGH A DISPUTE.
(ii miaiMFi.— pkiu ahociatic/h.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A dispute among the stokehold men o*i the steamer Somerset delayed the yes- ' sel's departure for West of England ports by twenty-four hours. The trouble arose- through two stokers, engaged in New Zealand, being paid the English rates, about £3 a -Week lower than the rates on Home steamers. The men were , finally persuaded to resume duty.
