MELBOURNE, This Day.
Burglars stunned, bound, and gagged a man named Killian, night porter at the Grand Hotel, and rifled the safe, taking about £700, including the sum of £550 lodged for safe keepiing by Miss Edith Drayson, an actress. The burglars then visited the White Hart Hotel adjoining, but were surprised, and decamped before they made a haul.
