(VMIIM Hill AIHCIATIOH.-CCHRUKt.)

(inuim'f tilimam.) (Received March 6,~ 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, 4th March. Nearly fifty brokers' firms have crashed since January. One of the largest houses was included in to-day's list of six. Frenzied customers are besieging other houses whose stability is regarded as uncertain. During recent months , the Stock Exchange has showed a steady .advance, and the " bucket shops " have been unable to recoup themselves, because they expected a drop in pricss. The proprietors of " bucket shops " are fleeing before the District Attorney's crusade. Out of fifty indictments, only six arrests have been made. The detectives find empty offices. Scores of defaulting brokers have fled to Eurojje, taking their gold stock certificates with them. They find the trip cheaper than putting up fifty 1 thousand dollars' bail.
