.D. W.. Griffith's production, "Way Down East," continues r to attract large houses nightly ' at . the Grand Opera House. The story centres round the mock marriage of one Anna Moore, and the misery that ensues. The picture is full of excellent .settings,. one of the most impressive being the ice-bound river. Lillian Gish, as the simple country girl, later as 1 the husbandless mother, and finally as' a happy bride, takes the main part.
