The Port Napier, at preßent Homeward louding at Napier, is later to complete her cargo at. Gisborne and Opua. She is scheduled to sail from Opua on the 17th March for London, via Australian ports.

PERSONA!.

The resignation is announced of Captain A. M. Edwin from the Union Steam Ship Company after 27 years' service. Captain Edwin Joined the Union Company as fourth offiter of the Tarawera in 1895, and worked his war up till he was given command as master. In 1913 Captain Edwin was appointed to the command of the Wahine, shortly after that vessel's arrival-from England, and when the Wnhin« was requisitioned by the Admiralty he toolc her Home, and saw considerable was service. He later commanded the Hospital ship Marama, and the transport Willochra. Upon his r«turu to New Zealand after the war Captain Edwin was reappointed to the Wahine ■'■ in th» Wellington-Lyttelton ferry service, and remain. Ed in command till February of last year, when he was transferred to the R.M.S. Tahiti. Captain Edwin intends to settl* in business in Wellington. - .

PORT ADELAIDE FOR ROME. The Port Adelaide is expected at Wellington about the 20th March from Napier and Plcton to load for Home. She is to leave Wellington about the 2ath March for London, v« Montevideo. , '

FOR LONDON, VIA MONTEVIDEO. The Port Bowen is to leave Lyttelton on Thursday for Dunedin to complete discharge of oversea cargo. She has been fixed to load Homewards'at Lyttclton, Oisborne, and Wellington, and will sail from here about tht 30th March for London, via Montevideo.

The Canadian Scottish, is scheduled to leave Vancouver for Australian and New Zealand ports on the 10th. March. She will be rollowed by the Canadian Transporter, sailing on the Bth April for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

The Canadian Britisher is to follow on the 11th May for Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. ' "
