HATAITAI WIN RINKS CHAMPIONSHIP.

The final of the Wellington Bowling Centre rinks championship was decided on the Wellington Club's green to-day, and resulted in a runaway victory for the Hataitai rink, led by Ardell, which defeated Laws, of Victoria, by 30 points to 8. . The semi-final, which hac^ to be postponed from Friday owing to the Vet weather, was resumed between Hataitai and Lyall Bay and Wellington and Victoria. Following were the teams: — Hataitai: Kean, Mosto'n, Halliday, Ardell (s); Lyall Bay: Sherwood, Kirk, M'Lean, Brighting (s). Wellington: Osborne, Grenfell, W. J. Thompson, Porteous (a); Victoria: Jollev, Luke, Fosaette, Laws (s). In the Hataitai-Lyall Bay came six heads had to be decided, and in the WellingtonVictoria grame eleven heads. Ardell's defeated Brighting's rink by 15 points to 13, Porteous (Wellington) ■-■ succumbing to Laws by 18 to ,14.
