MEDICAL GRADUATES
ANNUAL. MEETING.
The third annual meeting of the New Zealand Medical Graduates' Association (Dunedin) was held this morning. Dr. L. A. Line presided.
It was decided to donate to the medical school at Dunedin ,an oil painting of the late Professor Scott, formerly dean of the school. , The meeting approved of the establishment of tke- nucleus of a fund for the erection near the Dunedin Hospital of a hostel for final year students.
The opinion was expressed that there was need for more post-graduate medical instruction in New Zealand, and the Medical Faculty of the University is to be asked to take the matter up. .
Officers were elected as follow:—President, Dr. R. Church (Dunedin); vicepresidents', Drs. L. A. Line (Wellington), A. Hardie Neil ■ (Auckland), P. S. Foster (Christchurch), J. G. M'Doiiald' (Dunedin); hon. secretary, Dr. A. R. Falconer (Dunedin).
