LONDON, 2nd March. The Daily Chronicle states that while rumours are still afloat as to the attempted wheat corner, inquiries show that the recent increases in wheat price's are due to increased Continental demand, and the fact that owing to .bumper crops world-wide prices slumped', too rapidly and Too'low, with the result that the p£itdulum has now swung- in the other direction. . ■
