"MARITANA."
Vincent Wallace's opera, "Maritana," is the work selected by the Royal Wellington Choral Union for its first concert of the present season. The performanca has been fixed for Saturday, 20th May. Practices will -commence on Tuesday next in Sfc. John's schoolroom, Dixon^treefc, at 8 o'clock. The musical director, Mr. Temple Whits, will be present at St. John's on Tuesday, at 7.15, for the purpose of, interviewing new members. *
