The programme of pictures at the Star Theatre, Newtown, to-night, presents as ita chief feature "A Fugitive From Matrimony," with H. B. Warner in the loading part. The story is of a rich young mesogynist, who through force of strange circumstances is driven towads the matrimony he desires to avoid. Other items include a special Chaplin comedy, with the inimitablo CharKe to the fore.
In connection with the Salvation Army Harvest Festival meetings, being conducted by Major and Mrs.* Burton, a programme of vocal, instrumental, and elocutionary items will be submitted on Monday evening in the Vivian-street Citadel, and on Tuesday evening the Bilver Band »nd Sgnaiter Brigade will provide itemi.
