350,000 WORKERS AFFECTED.

(AUITRALIAN - NIW ZEALAND CABU ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 25th February. Engineering lock-out notices affecting 350,000 workers were posted to-day. The employers have issued a statement emphasising'that'the issue is not overtime, but the fundamental principle Whether they shall exercise managerial functions over their own works.
The Trades Union Congress will be asked to < take concerted action in the event of the lock-out operating.
