SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Two feature attractions of unusual appeal are being shown at Shortt's ThsatTe. "The Cfiannings" '(from the much-read novel by Mrs. Henry Wood), and "The Wallop," s
Western feature, with Harry Carey in the chief role. The former is a British production from the Masters Films, Ltd., being the story of the feud between the Ohannings, quiet; English country folk, and the Forkes, wild, careless, and quarrelsome. Harry Carey has associated with him Mark Fenton, Mignonne Golden, and other favourites in a smashing drama of love and adventure in the hills. There is incident in plenty, romance, and adventure. Also on the programme is a New Zealand scenic.
