LODGE MEETING
The weekly meeting of the Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, was held last evening in the Central Mission Hall. There was a good attendance. Being quarter night, the variow officers presented their reports, which were of a satisfactory character, and were favourably received. The following officers were installed for the new term by Brother E. Montgomery, L.D., assisted by Sister Mrs. Bett, G.V.T., and Brothei W. H. Ingram, P.D.C.T.:—V.T., .Sister Mrs. Miller; secretary, Sistei Miss J. L. Webb (reelected); P.S., Sister , Mrs. Callum; treasurer. Sistei- Mrs. Hurst (re-elected); chap., Sister Mrs. Harding; marshal, Brother J. Owler; sentinel, Brother D. Hampton; pianist, Sister Tustin: D.M., Brother 0. W. Jones; reg., Brother G. Petherick; reporter, Brother Kempton. Sister L. Richards was recommended as L.D., Brother J. Kenvpton as S.J.W., Sister Owler, senr., as A.S.J.W., Brother Hurst as E.D., and Brother Jones as marine deputy. The various committees were elected, and it was decided to commence work in view of the next licensing- .poll at the oncl of the year. ' Brothers Hurst, • Hampton, and Devereaux, Sisters Harding, Hurst, and Cullum . were elected representatives to the -District Lodge for the present year. Hearty votes of.- thanks were accorded past officers for their services.
