CONGRATULATIONS
The Government members are professing to see in the co-operation of the whole Opposition on the amendment- to refer back to the Labour Bills Committee the Arbitration Amendment Bill a practical evidence of the new party organisation. The Minister of Labour, with his tongue in his chfiekj congratulated Mi. Holland yesterday on leading the new party, with the Liberal leader as his' Whip. Mr. A. D. M'Leod (Wairarapa), wKle also joining in ironical congratulations and giving " great credit " to Mr. Wilford foi his effective' services, became more direct in his references to the how situation. "I don't know that some of the older members of the once great Liberal Party," he said, "would bo proud to see the rentnant of that oiv-i great pi.rty dragging at the chariot/ wheels of a party which has been called the Red Fed Party." The Opposition answer wae a smiling invitation to their caustic critic to inform Mr. Speaker what' clause in th& Arbitration Bill he v?as discussing.
