The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m.
The Statutes Revision Committee reported with amendments the Loan Companies Bill, the Local Bodies Finance Bill,, and the Municipal Corporations Amendment Bill: The Valuation of Land Amendment Bill was reported without amendment. The most important amendment was that in the Loan Companies Bill to which was added a new clause providing that the Mortgages and Deposits Extension Act, 1921, is not to apply to mortgage companies if the directors so resolve.
