DIVORCE AMENDMENT
NO DECREE FOR GUILTY PARTY.
The Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Amendment Bill, introduced in the Legislative Council this afternoon, attaches a condition to that section of the 1920 Act which gives the Court power .to make a •ecree where the parties' -have been separated for not less than three years. No decree,is to be granted if the respon-, dent opposee the making of a decree and it is proved that the separation was due to, or the result of, the actions or conduct of the petitioner.
