MEETING OF THE COUNCIL.

A meeting of the Petone Borough Council was held last evening. Present: The Mayor (Mr. J. W. M'Ewan), Councillors C. P. Brockelbank, M. Ford, R. Jones, W. Hay, D. Bedingfield, G. Cook. ' ■ ; ■ ■

Councillor Churchouae wrote forwarding his resignation, as he had left the district.
