DEVINE AND WATKINS, WERAROA BUTCHERY.
The residents of Weraroa cannot complain in regard to the attention bestowed upon them by the firm whose name appears at the top of this short sketch. Messrs. Devine and Watkins are the sole representatives of the butchery trade in that part oi the district, and, consequently, conduct a very extensive business. It stands to this firm's credit that, while they have practically a monopoly, only the best quality of meat is purveyed to the public. It is a noticeable fact in regard to the Levin district generally, that the meat purveyed there is miles ahead of what is obtainable in many other towns and cities. Of course the firm of Devine and Watkins do not confine operations exclusively to Weraroa.; their delivery extends over a wide area of country, and, besides, good quality meat, civility, and attention, the writer can say that their premises, both put andi in, ar« scrupulously clean, which is an important point with foodstuffs.
