EMPRESS THEATRE.
There is excitement in plenty in "Saved1 By the Sea," a film version of the play by Arthur Shirley, which is heading the present programme at the Empress Theatre. The heroine, when a child, is the only survivor of a wreck, and is rescued by twe fishermen, jne of whom marries heT. The other, in a fit of jealousy, attempts to kill his partner in a boat at sea by night. Nova Swinburne and Philip Anthony take the leading roles. Good supports are shown.
