NORTHLAND PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL MEETING HELD.

The annual meeting of the Northland Progressive Association was held last night, Mar. F. W. Man ton presiding. In a short address he referred to the progress made during the year, and the necessity for keeping the association alive in the futMre. He specially mentioned what had been accomplished with regard to recreation grounds for the children, and referred to the pressing need for providing proper access to Wilton's Bush at the Karori and Northland end. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as fellow:—President, Mr. F. W. Manton; vice-presidents, Messrs. L. E. Lambert and F. B. Mabin; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. A. M'Queen ; committee, Messrs. Austin, Birkett, Emerre, Grant, O'Connor, Putnam, Salt, Stott, White, Boycs, Burd, Mulligan, Gapes, James, Franklin, and Captain M'lndoe.
