3 "Press Association telegram from Auckland states: —The death has taken place of Mr. Bartholomew Kent, aged 71 years. Mr. Kent retired last June from the position of manager at Auckland of the Alliance Assurance Company. He was five times president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, was president of the first Auckland Exhibition, and took a keen interest in public affairs, sport, and music.
