Amid protests from a deputation of unemployed, the Islington Bg'ulT ' <>f Guardians is carrying out the Health Ministry's ruling that the amount paid must not exceed tlie lowest rate of pay' of a labourer in the locality. \The guardians havp rescinded the unemployment relief scale of 73s weekly.
