TRACTORS IN PLACE OF HORSES.

Sn William Joynson-Hicks, M.P., speaking at a dinner in connection with tractor power farming, said he was convinced that mechanical traction would oust horses from agriculture, as it had done from the roads. He admitted that n© had taken up farming in order to live these hard times. _ Mr. Arthur James Hale said the Minister of Agriculture was embarking on a campaign of education .and research, with a view to securing' better farming.
