SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Bound after round of applause greeted the performers at ..Mrs.' E. C. Adams'* concert to seafarers at the.Sailors' Friend' Society on Thursday. The performers were Mesdames Adams and Townley, Misses Adams and J. Lewis, and Messrs. If Anderson, E. C. Adams, Lyons, Monk, Gould, and Gordon. The Mesdames Townley and Strong were at the piano. The competition prizes came from the hostess and well wishers, ■ and went to the Amokura and Durham. An urgent ple» was made by the missioner for discarded reading matter for the men.
