ENGLISH PIERROTS.

The season of the English Pierrots in Wellington is proving all too short. Wellington audiences airo sincerely attached to the happy band of merrymakers who are delighting large audiences nightly at th« Opera House with, their artful (nonsense. The company is strong in vocalists, humourists, dancers, and sketch artists, iand the .programmes they present are bright and clever, sparkling with wit, and rich in melody. All the members are popular with the audiences, and nightly there is given strong proof of the approbation of the public. Tonight's performance, will take place in ithe Opera House, and to-morrow's will be given in: the Town Hall Concert Chamber, as the theatre is engaged.

The final performance of "Pack and Fraacesca" was given in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall last night. There was a large attendance, and the entertainment was voted a distinct bucLast evening at the Lyall Bay Hall the Kiibirnie Girl Guards gave a very successful concert. The proceeds, about £10, go towards the expenses of improving the Bay' schoolgrounds. Amongst those who contributed items were Patrol Leaders H. Walker, P. Farrel, G. Hoaro, and D. Poole 1, Corporals J. Taylor, G. Miers, Guards J. King, Crockett, and Waterhouse.
