A MISSING STORM

The Dominion Meteorologist, has been anticipating a storm for two or threedays past, but it has gone missing._ The barometer has continued high in tho South, and the stormy conditions in the North have decreased: while rain has been reported from only a few places on the East Coast this morning. The conditions point to heavy weather having been experienced in Victoria and Bass Straits, remarked Mr. D. C. Bates to-day. Tho probability of the anticipated storm roaching New 'Zealand is less than before, but its advent is not yet definitely unlikely.
