Negotiations ior the establishment of an Imperial Bureau of Mycology (for the study of fungi), fmancjally supported by all parts of the Empire, have been successfully concluded, pr. Butler, the former Imperial Mycologist and agricultural adviser to^ the Government of India, has been appointed the first director.
