PRICE OF FLOUR REDUCED.

LONDON, 23rd August. The Millers' Association has reduced the price of English flour by 6s 6d per sack.

'J' grade, August-October shipment, sold at £38 per ton. Sellers' present quotations are: June-August to August-October shipments, £37 15s. So far market has not been affected, the feeling being that supplies of spot and afloat, plus amount graded, will bo sufficient for some time. Manila output, Ist January to 15th August, was 1462,000 bales, against 743,000 bales last year, and thi» production appears sufficient for the world's present consumption. New Zealand: Better inquiry; offers scarce. Present quotations are: Sellers, high-points, £37 10s per tori; buyers, fair, £34 to £34 10s per ton, August-October shipment. Stocks, Great Britain. 31st July, 682 tons, against 472 tons last year."
