DANNEVIRKE, 24th August. ■At the Dannevirke Hunt Club Meeting, held to-day, the totalisator handled £13,057, as compared with £13,552 for the meeting held in June last. ,-■

To Matu Hunters' Steeplechase, of 100 soys; about two miles.—Master Oriflamme, 10.9, 1; Scimitar, 10.9, 2; Taihape, 10.11, 3. Also started: Roney 10.9, Three Bells 10.9; The Hound 10.9, "Morning/Pride 10.9, Te Tuna 10.7, Martinello 10.7, Hifirangi 10.7, -Fiery 10.7. ." Te Tuna fell. Won by half a. length. Time, smin 29sec.

Oringi Welter Handicap, of 150 soys; seven furlongs.—Admiral Codrington, 10.8, 1; Truthful, 10.9, 2; Printemps, 9.13, 3. Also started : Demos 10.0, Toa Taua 9.13, Automoana 9.0, Sweet Song 9.0. Won by three lengths. Time, lmin 32sec.

Akitio Ladies' Bracelet, of 90 soys; one mile and a-quarter.—Sunray, 11.11, 1; Royal Gift, 11.2, 2; Sir Alba, 10.13, 3. Also started : Mannikin 11.9, Revelry 10.12, Gak Rose 10.12, Maliluni 10.12, Martinello 10.11, Sir Roger 10.11, Anguish 10.11, Vladist 10.11. Won in the last few strides by a neck. Time, 2min 22sec.
