HARMONIC SOCIETY.
On Saturday evening next, at the Town Ha_ll,'s the Wellington Harmonic Society will give the second conceit of the 1921 season. The choir of fifty picked voices, under the conductorahip of Mr. H. Temple White, will be heard in eight part songs, etc.,; quite new numbers, including "An Evening's Pastorale," "Come, Pretty Wag, aiid Sing," "Blue Bonnets over the Border,' ."Negro Dirge," and , the "Bridal Chorus,", from Cowen's "Rose Maiden." The society has specially engaged Miss Carrie Lanceley, the brilliant prima donna, for this concert, and she will contribute the "Jewel Song," from Gounod's "Faust," "Mignonette" (Alfred Harriss), and "The Reason" (Teresa del Riego). Mr. A. Stanley Hilliker ('cellist) will contribute solos, and the Harmonic Quartette will sing "Reveries" (Storch), an old English glee'written by: Atterbury about the year 1790, "Adieu, Ye Streams." Tickets may be obtained and seats reserved without extra charge at the Bristol.
