FAIR TO CLOUDY WEATHER
Dame Nature jtvas all. 3miles to-day, and great was the desire of all those in Wellington whose duties kept them within doors to, go outside and bask in such splendour, but this was the joy of others, and they made the most of the blue sky and sunshine and delicious atmosphere, which was fanned by » slight northerly breeze. Evidently these condl tions are to continue for a while, for at 9 a-.m. to-day the official forecast was for fair to cloudy weather and a very cold night, with, Jack Frost paying visits inland. In the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island cold and showery conditions are expected, with hard frosts, to-night.
