POLES AND GERMANS TO SEND DELEGATES
(4UBTRAUAN - NEW ZEALAND CABI.I ASSOCIATION.) (Received August 16, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 15th August. The Lc«gue of Nations has invited Poland to send a delegate to the Council of tho League during the consideration of the Silesian problem, and Germany will be invited to become a temporary member of the League, and to send a representative. It is reported from Berlin that no negotiations have been conducted between Germany and Poland, and that Germany continues to claim the whole province, including districts in which there is an indisputable Polish majority. (PUSUSHBD IN THB TIMES.) LONDON, 15th August. Advices from Paris state that Geneva is now foreshadowed as the meeting place of the League of Nations on 22nd August, to deal with the Silesian difficulty. Germany and Poland are invited to send one representative.
