The two-feature programme at th» Strand Theatre this week is attracting large audiences. " Alf's Button," the English picture which depicts the humorous adventures of a London Tommy, who has found a button which has the power of Aladdin's lamp, is responsible for most hearty laughter, and. in contrast, " MidChannel," with Clara Kimball Young in the lead, tells a, story of modem society. The latest Pathe Gazette is also screened.
