WORKS TO CLOSE DOWN.

Yarrows have decided • to close down Shipbuilding on the Clyde on 13th November, owing to the shipjoiners' and other strikes, the reduction of output, <md the demarcation of disputes making costs excessive. They declare that they will re-open only when conditions enable business to be conducted with some chan.ee of success. '<
