A medical correspondent draws attention to the formidable increase of cancer, based on the latest statistical tables. Every civilised country, markedly in Europe and America, has practically doubled the rate of mortality. In the United Kingdom during the past twenty years the growth of bowel, cancer suggests that present-day habits of feeding .have an influence in the matter.
