STRAND THEATRE.
The two features being screened at the Strand Theatre this week present strong contrasts. "Mid-Channel," the screen version of Sir A. W. Pinero's problem play, is a story of modern society and the up-to-date woman. Clara Kimball Young is excellent in the leading role. "Alf's Button" is (a happy mixture of romance and comedy. The latest Pathe Gazette is full of interest.
